Practise, teach, observe and improve
40 interactive studios combine saved written responses, decision exercises, sequencing and branching scenarios. Optional narration and synchronized captions support study. Alex offers role-play and formative feedback; an internal trainer conversation supplies human assistance. Audio starts only when requested.
Complete teaching pack
Download 37 English PDF/Word resources including the programme, manual, workbook, eight scenario sets, an initial student HF/CRM 13-hour teaching canvas, six portfolio templates and source register. Staff-only guides, answer keys and an 80-question bank are protected. Photographs are real and their public-domain provenance is documented.
Admission
Cabin crew candidates need current or former cabin crew attestation, appropriate senior cabin crew experience or documented accepted equivalence, CRM/HPL preparation and instructional-techniques qualification. An experienced CRM/human-factors specialist route includes cabin-context preparation. EAC reviews the evidence, a diagnostic and teaching English (B2 target). The separate Initial Instructor Training course provides pedagogical preparation where required.
Assessment and award
Complete all learning evidence, four workshops, two formative teaching attempts and six accepted portfolio components. Pass a supervised 40-question test sampled from 80 (60 minutes; EAC threshold 80%), deliver a 45-minute facilitated session, lead a 20-minute debrief and defend the portfolio. All six rubric criteria must reach 3/4 with twelve trainer behaviours evidenced and no unresolved critical error. A qualified human assessor authorises the EAC Malta Ltd Certificate of Successful Completion and Competency Assessment. The four-hour assessment allocation is individual to each candidate.
Teaching scope and continued development
The Head of Training records the organisational teaching scope. Observe the first actual delivery and review competence annually; the EAC annual programme includes six hours and observed facilitation. Initial student training, instructor qualification and operator CRM appointment are distinct scopes. The 40-hour programme and its numerical thresholds are EAC design choices, not a claimed PEL 93 trainer-hour minimum.
