2. Course information and eligibility
Before ordering, review the course objectives, audience, included lessons and resources, assessment and completion conditions, language, access period and technical requirements. The service is intended for adults who can enter a binding contract. Online courses are in English. You need an individual account, a current browser supporting HTML5, an internet connection and a device capable of displaying the course content. PDF resources require a compatible reader. Contact us about accessibility or a technical requirement before ordering.
Descriptions do not constitute operational instructions or replace approved practical training, operator procedures, medical advice or regulatory qualifications. A learning record is not a Cabin Crew Attestation, licence or operator approval unless a specific approved offer expressly states otherwise.
3. Offers, prices and tax
We may offer individual courses, bundles and recurring subscriptions. An offer lists its included learning content, total price, currency, taxes and access or billing period. A price described as exclusive of tax is recalculated for your permitted billing country before payment. The final confirmation screen shows the total payable and included tax. There are no shipping charges for online digital access. Your bank may apply foreign-exchange or payment fees under its own terms.
Not all offers are available in every country. Do not provide a false billing address or customer classification. Business and training-organisation orders currently require a reviewed quotation, including tax treatment, invoicing and learner allocations. Entering a VAT number alone does not establish an exemption or reverse charge. Courses are not automatically exempt from VAT because they are educational.
4. Ordering and payment
Create or sign in to your account, select the offer, provide billing information, review the total and conditions, then accept the terms and press the button expressly indicating an obligation to pay. You can correct information by returning to the preceding step before submitting payment. Payment takes place through Revolut hosted checkout. We do not receive or store your complete card number or card security code.
Submitting a payment request does not prove payment. Access is granted only after the server confirms successful payment with the payment provider. An order confirmation and the accepted terms are available as a downloadable file in My account. Contact us if confirmation is missing or a payment status is uncertain before making another payment. The order confirmation is not a VAT fiscal invoice; request the applicable fiscal invoice from EAC Malta.
5. Access periods
A one-time course or bundle normally provides six calendar months of access, unless the offer expressly states another period. Its access period begins on the stated access start date. Calendar-month calculations preserve the day where possible and use the last valid day for shorter months. The confirmed start and expiry are recorded with the order; dates are displayed using Malta time. A purchase includes the released courses specified at ordering.
You may request immediate digital delivery using separate express consent and acknowledgement at checkout. Without a valid early-delivery request, access starts after the 14-day withdrawal period. For one-time purchases, the price is payable at ordering. Expired access does not erase retained purchase records or issued completion records.
6. Subscriptions
A subscription states whether it covers selected courses, selected subjects or the entire released library, and whether billing is monthly or yearly. The stated recurring amount is payable for each billing period and automatically renews until cancelled. No free learning trial is implied. With an express early-service request, subscription billing begins immediately. Otherwise Revolut collects the payment method at sign-up and defers the first recurring charge for 14 days; learning access starts only on the confirmed paid cycle after that waiting period. The waiting period does not shorten the first paid access period. Entire-library and subject subscriptions may include newly released courses within that scope during a confirmed paid period; unreleased drafts are excluded.
Cancel future renewal from My account using the subscription cancellation function, or contact us if you cannot access it. Cancellation stops future billing after it is confirmed. Confirmed paid access remains available until the end of the paid period. Payment failures do not create a new paid access period. No unilateral price increase applies to an existing order snapshot through this website; a different offer or billing arrangement requires clear advance information and any legally required consent.
An early-access request for a subscription service does not automatically extinguish all withdrawal rights. Applicable service-contract rules, including any lawful proportionate payment for performance expressly requested, remain applicable.
7. Account and licence
Keep your account information accurate and your credentials confidential. The licence is personal and limited to the access period. Do not share accounts, redistribute paid resources, reproduce question banks or use the service to circumvent an assessment. Organisations receive only the seats and course allocations agreed in their quotation. Each learner uses an individual account. Allocated seats remain assigned to that learner.
We may restrict access where necessary to investigate fraud, account misuse or a security threat. Restrictions do not remove statutory remedies, and customers may contact us to contest a decision. We may maintain and update learning materials; material changes to a purchased scope must respect the contract and applicable digital-content rights.
8. Learning and assessment
Learning may follow a defined sequence or allow free navigation. Assessments state their pass mark and any attempt limit. Answers are marked by the server using the stated assessment method. Completion records may require lesson completion and successful assessments, record attendance only, or be unavailable, as stated for the course. Contact us if you believe a question or result is incorrect. Your organisation’s manager can view completion progress only for the learners assigned to its allocation.
9. Withdrawal, refunds and conformity
Consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal period for qualifying distance contracts, subject to the applicable statutory exceptions. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal exception requires prior express consent to early supply, acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the right when supply begins, and the required contract confirmation. These choices are separate from general acceptance of these terms. They do not waive remedies for non-conforming content.
Subscription services and digital-content contracts may be treated differently. We assess each request under the applicable rules. Submit a request from My account or send a clear withdrawal statement to our contact address. See the withdrawal instructions and model form. We will respond to a valid withdrawal and make any required reimbursement within the applicable statutory period, normally no later than 14 days after being informed, using the original payment means unless lawfully agreed otherwise.
You retain statutory rights for digital content and services that do not conform to the contract, including the applicable right to have conformity restored and, where the law provides, a price reduction or termination. Report a problem with the course, device/browser information and order reference. We do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Availability and support
Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security work or network failures. Contact EAC Malta for access or learning support. We will assess a service failure and any appropriate contractual or statutory remedy. No blanket exclusion of all refunds applies.
11. Personal data
The privacy notice describes account, payment-reference, learning-progress and assessment processing. Only necessary session and security cookies are used by the learning storefront; see cookie information.
12. Complaints and applicable law
First send a complaint to EAC Malta with your order reference and the outcome sought. Consumers may also contact the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority using its consumer complaints service. Available national consumer assistance and court remedies remain unaffected. The former EU ODR platform is closed and is not used for complaints.
Maltese law governs these terms. Where we direct services to consumers in another country, this choice does not deprive those consumers of mandatory protections applicable under the relevant conflict-of-law rules. Jurisdiction and remedies remain subject to mandatory consumer law; these terms do not impose an exclusive Maltese forum on all international consumers.
Legal framework
Relevant legislation includes the Electronic Commerce Act, Chapter 426, Consumer Rights Regulations, S.L. 378.17, the Digital Content and Digital Services Contracts Regulations, S.L. 378.20, and applicable EU consumer and data-protection rules.
