Practise and explain every decision

40 HTML5 studios combine real photographs, saved written applications, 20 decision exercises, ten sequencing activities and ten branching cases. Optional narration, English captions and Alex provide role-play and formative feedback. Audio begins only when selected.

Prepare, demonstrate and assess

One live workshop, three practical days and a supervised teaching day develop adult, child and infant resuscitation, AED and choking instruction, first aid for medical events and injuries, oxygen and medical equipment literacy, cabin coordination, hygiene, assessment and debriefing.

Your teaching pack

Download the full programme, illustrated learning manual, workbook, 20-case exercise pack, admission diagnostic and editable teaching templates. Staff receive delivery and assessment guides, facilitator answers and the protected 80-question bank. A source and photograph-provenance register accompanies the pack. All photographs are real, CC0 or author-dedicated public domain.

Admission and development

Full initial, existing-instructor and healthcare routes. EAC reviews relevant experience, current practical first aid skills, teaching English and instructional preparation. A prior First Aid Trainer certificate is not mandatory for the full initial route. The 40-hour Initial Instructor Training course supplies the pedagogical foundation where needed.

Competence award

Complete the online work, verified attendance, two formative teaching attempts, six accepted portfolio components, a supervised 40-question test (60 minutes, 80%), all twelve observed practical tasks and two assessed teaching performances. Every rubric criterion must reach 3/4 and no critical error may remain unresolved. An independent human assessor authorises the EAC Malta Ltd Certificate of Competence, its supplement and the private evidence dossier. The appointing organisation records teaching scope and annual standardisation separately.
