References and qualification scope
For regulated DG training in Malta, verify S.L. 499.44 regulation 12(7)–(9), including any applicable employee-only exception. Operator programme approval under ORO.GEN.110(j), function-specific CBTA and instructor competence remain separate requirements.
- IATA — Dangerous Goods competency-based training and assessment — Function-based training guidance; not IATA accreditation of EAC.
- IATA — DG training design, responsibilities and approval context — Guidance linking job functions, objectives, assessment and applicable national requirements.
- EASA — Part-CC, CC.TRA.215/.220 and Appendix 1 — EU requirements and associated material; verify the applicable provision and delivery scope.
Programme timings, pass marks and activity design are EAC choices unless a specific applicable provision is identified.

Recognise. Decide. Respond.
Refresh your existing dangerous goods competence through realistic cabin and baggage decisions. This programme uses EAC C06 Dangerous Goods, Edition 3 Revision 0 (23 August 2026), with current EASA and IATA references checked on 10 October 2026.
2 hours of active learning + a 30-minute assessment allowance; breaks excluded. This is an EAC programme allocation, not a universal statutory minimum. Prior DG training is expected; unresolved gaps require additional learning.

48 HTML5 screens, six three-stage scenarios, ordering exercises, reveal cards, real photographs, English narration and captions. Alex helps you practise with sourced explanations outside the assessment. Progress resumes where you stopped; breaks and inactive time do not count as active study.
Assessment and certificate
Complete the learning activities and 120 active minutes, then answer 30 questions drawn across all six themes from a 60-question bank. The pass mark is 80%; the assessment allowance is 30 minutes. Review the explained result before receiving the certificate. If unsuccessful, review the relevant topics before a new balanced attempt.
Certificate of Successful Completion — Dangerous Goods Recurrent Training for Cabin Crew. The certificate includes identity, issuer, version, learning allocation, result, date, unique reference, QR verification and a programme supplement. It records EAC course completion; it does not confer DG instructor status, cargo-acceptance authority or operator-specific practical competence.
Current rules and operational scope
The EAC Ed3 exercise rule limits personal power banks to 100 Wh. The course explicitly distinguishes this rule, the March 2026 guidance, operator variations and future publication changes. Real carriage decisions use current controlled provisions and the applicable approved procedures. The organisation manages recurrent due dates from the relevant training records; platform access is a separate period.
