CRM and human performance · EAC programme
Course scope and learning pathway
Refresh CRM facilitation, observation, debriefing and teaching transfer using the new C03 presentation. The completion record supports the instructor development dossier. It does not automatically renew a trainer qualification or establish acceptance of the blended format for every programme.
- Audience
- Existing Cabin Crew CRM instructors undertaking professional refresher development; not restricted to EAC staff.
- Before you start
- Prior relevant CRM instructor training/experience and access to an authorised facilitator for the workshop.
- Learning format
- 4 hours online + 2 hours facilitated live workshop + 30 minutes final assessment.
- Completion document
- Certificate of Successful Completion
Objectives and completion evidence
- Adapt the new C03 Interactive V2 to an audience and an observable behavioural objective.
- Facilitate accessible human-performance and communication exercises without confusing demonstration with diagnosis.
- Observe TEM, workload, assertiveness, situation awareness and automation behaviours using explicit criteria.
- Conduct an evidence-based debrief and replay, then evaluate transfer.
- Prepare and demonstrate a short CRM teaching sequence, with appropriate programme and certificate boundaries.
240 active online minutes, accepted portfolio, 120 verified live minutes, satisfactory observed criteria, final knowledge assessment and explained review.
Your teaching assignment
Select an activity from the new C03 deck. Identify the audience and one observable CRM behaviour; prepare a short facilitation sequence, observation criteria, debrief and retry. Bring your original materials to the live workshop and record how feedback changes your next delivery.
Use your existing lesson-plan and portfolio components. This contextual work belongs within the published preparation allocation; it is not extra credited time.
References and qualification scope
AMC3 ORO.CC.115(e) addresses trainer qualification, experienced trainers, operator observation and recency. GM2 gives six actual refresher training hours excluding breaks; it is guidance, not a certificate title. Arithmetic equivalence of four online plus two live hours does not by itself establish accepted equivalence to the required trainer development.
- EASA — Part-CC, CC.TRA.215/.220 and Appendix 1 — EU requirements and associated material; verify the applicable provision and delivery scope.
- EASA — Air Operations, Part-ORO and cabin crew CRM — Operator context; determine applicability before transferring requirements to a CCTO course.
- ICAO — Digital learning for cabin crew, Circular 356 — Digital-learning guidance; not a replacement for all required practical exercises.
Programme timings, pass marks and activity design are EAC choices unless a specific applicable provision is identified.

Your two-hour workshop
Submit a lesson plan, debrief script and implementation plan. In a group of up to four, facilitate a short teaching sequence, observe your peers and replay a targeted improvement. Your instructor records actual attendance and four practical criteria. The administrator provides your group’s Teams or Zoom link.
Assessment and completion evidence
Online completion and instructor acceptance of the portfolio and observed workshop unlock 30 balanced questions drawn from a 60-question bank. Pass mark: 80%; allowance: 30 minutes. Review the explained answers before certificate issue.
Certificate of Successful Completion — CRM Refresher for Cabin Crew Instructors - 1026. Includes a detailed training annex with content, recorded dates, active online time, verified workshop attendance, instructor review and assessment result. Course completion does not automatically renew a trainer appointment; applicable recency and organisational assessment remain separate.
Resources and delivery
The original C03 PowerPoint and learner workbook are included. Authorised faculty have an additional two-hour workshop PowerPoint with speaker notes, facilitator guide and instructor desk. This generic course supports enrolled learners, subscriptions, invitation codes and eligible CBTEAC access. Prior relevant instructional training is expected; discuss suitability with the organiser.
