References and qualification scope
For mandatory aviation security duties, establish the applicable national security training programme, authorised instructor and accepted delivery method. A CCTO approval alone does not establish that this standalone refresher satisfies those arrangements.
- EASA — Part-CC, CC.TRA.215/.220 and Appendix 1 — EU requirements and associated material; verify the applicable provision and delivery scope.
- ICAO — Aviation Security Policy Section — AVSEC governance: ASP, AVSEC Panel, Annex 17 and restricted Doc 8973.
- EASA — National instructor qualifications and examination arrangements — EASA explanation: qualification and examination arrangements require the national/CCTO context.
Programme timings, pass marks and activity design are EAC choices unless a specific applicable provision is identified.
